Meeting Cool People is a Perk of the Job

Me and my friend Juan

One of the best things about being deployed to another country is that you get to meet really cool people from different parts of the world. This is a friend of mine that works at one of the places I have to go to a lot. He is from Peru and luckily he knows english pretty good because it's the only language I know, and I don't even know it that well :)

  • GLad you're able to see the positives in your present life. Some of the people you've met may become life-long friends - even if they get on your nerves from overexposure lately. A. Rhonda

  • Hello from Montana. Saw this link on another site, so I am crusing through the blogosphere saying Hi to people who won't be around for the Holidays. I hope you make it back safe and sound, sounds like it should be soon. It is very Christmassy in Montana-we got close to two feet of snow in the last week and more coming. The temp isn't going to be over freezing for a week to ten days!
You take care, enjoy what you can and endure what you must.
