Meeting Cool People is a Perk of the Job

One of the best things about being deployed to another country is that you get to meet really cool people from different parts of the world. This is a friend of mine that works at one of the places I have to go to a lot. He is from Peru and luckily he knows english pretty good because it's the only language I know, and I don't even know it that well :)

Things are getting busier around here for us. Partially because of our job and partially because we are getting ready to go home. We have been packing bags and filling out paper work. Last week my squad had to help and fill in for one of the other squads and run some extra trips out to Victory. This week is a little slow but my team still has to fill in for the other 2 teams in my squad because the duty we would normally be doing this week someone else has to do for us because he got in trouble.

Neglecting the blog...

I have really been neglecting my blog for a while. It seems like there is nothing to write about now. I think it might be because I have been occupying the time I ussually spend writing doing things like going to the gym, playing videogames on my xbox, and researching online about my car.
It's pathetic but I really do miss driving my car a lot. It is true that once you own a VW you are hooked! I don't have any pictures of it but it is a 2003 Jetta 1.8T Reflex Silver w/ every option but leather. It is sad that I have owned it since 2003 and have only got to drive it for about a year!
I don't know when I will get back into writing in this blog like I used to but I am sure I will sometime. Untill then I will just write in it when I feel guilty for neglecting it :)
